The casino hotel offers 401 rooms with 100,000 square feet of gaming space. The interior design is art deco, with numerous glass windows for the top several floors. The first casino was opened in 1999, but in 2007 a more permanent casino resort with hotel was created. One of those casinos is the MGM Grand Detroit Casino.
